  • Age is just a number when it comes to health-Good nutrition can help keep you young! If you are over the age of 60 and money is tight, there may be help to buy more of the food you need to stay healthy. Up to a half a million seniors may be eligible for SNAP, the new name for the food stamp program. If you're thinking about benefits like social security and medicare, know that SNAP benefits are also here for everyone who is eligible-There is no waiting list and getting SNAP doesn't take benefits from someone else. SNAP benefits are used through an EBT card, like a debit card.
